The people they have giving "quotes" are a joke. They are ignorant, DO NOT know cars or what is wrong with them or the parts when described in details. The guy laughed when I told him I at least wanted 250 for it . He told me I would never see that kind of money for a plastic hunk of junk when in reality a Saturn sl no accidents 120k milage when those engines are known to run past 200k newish transmission should get at least 250 for it and there was no reason either of the three people I spoke to ....to give me such an attitude insulting me I would NEVER recommend this company

I called trying to ask a couple of quick questions. After being on hold for 15 minutes, Alex repeatedly interrupted me, talked down to me and eventually hung up on me without even making an offer. I should have read these other reviews first. They are clearly scam artists or a front for some other business. No way they can make a living with customer service like that.

REALLY??? $700? The local dealer offered $14,500 and THAT was too low. We sold it for $19,200. You should have your salespeople trained on what trucks are actually worth before they make ridiculous offers. BTW, this is the SAME company as JunkACar.com! We tried there too and got the same PERSON!!! SCAM ALERT! Why hide between two company names????

I called to get a quote and after getting the quote and while still talking to them, the guy hung up on me (on purpose) once he realized I wasn't selling it so them so cheap. I won't eve try to do business with them in the future due to this rude behavior. I suggest going to another place like cashforautosalvagecom

Worked fine for us. You guys understand that the people you're dealing with are local towers and not the national company, right? Some of you describe a situation in which an unscrupulous tower is pinching a little off the top for himself. Take your complaint to a higher echelon. Go to the state level maybe? And yes, involve the authorities. BBB hell -- call the cops. You've been swindled (and so has the real company, Rusty's).

PS: We got about 5x more than the local salvage yard would have paid us if we'd have towed it in ourselves. Having them come get it? Might have cost us. The driver handed us a check, and we watched as he loaded the car by winch up the ramps to his flatbed. Slick as a whistle, right on time, and over with in 15 minutes or less.

I just sold my '97 Ford Taurus, but I was cheated by the tow person,Kyle. I made a verbal agreement over the phone for $250.00, but the tow person said he had to charge me a tow fee and would only give me $200.00. I negotiated to $240.00, but I feel violated because the original agreement was broken by the tow person. I have a 15 month old daughter that was with me, and I felt defenseless to the cheating tow person. He was also 35 minutes late so my daughter was ready to go home.
